Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Troopathon.org

On August 13, 2026 the Order of St George USA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Troopathon.org.

This Memorandum of Understanding agrees to coordinate and cooperate on fundraising and expansion efforts in our veterans’ programs which mutually benefits the Order and our Veterans.

“Troopathon is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the brave men and women of our Armed Forces. Our mission is to provide emotional and tangible support to active-duty troops deployed to combat areas around the world, as well as to offer assistance and resources to military families and veterans in need.”

They “stand united in our unwavering support of the military personnel on the front lines who protect our country.”

I would like to thank Chevalier Charles Hill KGCStG Grand Prior Emerurus of Canada for putting this MOU together, and Chevalier Robert Soderstrom KGCStG, Grand Prior of the Americas, for his input.

Chevalier Steven Mohns KGCStG is The Order of St. George Prior, of the United States of America Ltd. He was Knighted in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada in 2015, elevated to Knight Commander in Ottawa, Ontario Canada 2017 where he founded the Cascadia Priory in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is now Prior Emeritus of Cascadia. He was last promoted in 2022 to Knight Grand Cross by Grand Prior, Chevalier Charles Hill and tasked to rename and establish the Order of St George Priory of the United States from the Pewaukee Bury of the Order in Canada, to the United States uniting its American members here in the US. The Order in the United States stands alone. Its activities and Mission Statement mimic closely with the values of the Canadian Order in that we will collect and donate funds to humanitarian, fraternal and religious organizations with emphasis on housing and veterans' services in the USA.
